Eleven thousand officials on the German State Railways, a third of the entire number, voted for the Hitlerist list in the elections to the Council of Railway Officials which have just taken place, the Socialist organ “Vorwaerts” writes, pointing out that among the railway workers, however, only very few voted for the Hitlerists. Some of the highest officials, the “Vorwaerts” says, including Chief Inspectors Bradermann, Hoepfner, Fischer, and Robuschatis are using their authority to influence the officials in favour of the Hitlerists.

Exactly the same conditions exist, it adds, in the postal service.
