Shechita will be prohibited in the State of Brunswick, beginning on July 1st., according to a decision which has just been adopted by the Brunswick State Parliament. Not only cattle, but even poultry will not be allowed to be slaughtered according to the Jewish rites.

With the collapse recently of the Hitlerist regime in Thuringia, Brunswick is now the only German State in which the Hitlerists are represented in the Government, Dr. Franzen, the Hitlerist leader in Brunswick, holding the portfolio of Minister of the Interior.
