Simon Lubin Slated to Head California Commerce Bureau

Simon J. Lubin of this city, president of the Pan-American Reciprocal Trades Conference is slated for appointment by Governor Rolph to the position of chief of the State Bureau of Commerce. Announcement of his selection is expected from the governor’s office shortly.

Lubin has distinguished himself in promoting trade relations between California industrial plants and Latin-American markets.

Recently he was awarded a medal as Sacramento’s leading citizen in recognition of his work in that field.
