Hail Storm Wrecks Only Bulgarian Chalutz Colony

A devastating hail storm has destroyed more than three-quarters of the crops of the only Bulgarian Chalutz colony, located near the south Bulgarian city of T.-Pazardschik. Twenty chalutzim were being trained there for future farm work in Palestine.

The damage wrought by the hail storm to the chalutz colony is estimated at around 100,000 leva.
