The new Supreme Economic Council which has been appointed by President Hindenburg, under his own Chairmanship, does not contain a single Jew, although there are several Jews in Germany who are recognised as being among the most important economic and financial authorities in Germany, it is pointed out in Jewish circles here, where some anxiety is being expressed lest this should prove to be a new instance of anti-Jewish discrimination.
