Keren Hayesod Campaign in United Kingdom: Public Reception Given in Dublin to Mr. O. E. Diavigdor Go

A public reception was held at the Dublin Town Hall on Sunday, in honour of Mr. O. E. d’Avigdor Goldsmid, President of the Board of Jewish Deputies and of the British Section of the Jewish Agency and Chairman of the Jewish Agency Council, and of Mr. Leib Jaffe, Managing Director of the Keren Hayesod, when they visited the capital of the Irish Free State in connection with the new Keren Hayesod campaign for this year.

The Chief Rabbi, Dr. I Herzog, presided, and was supported by some of the most important members of the Dublin Jewish Community. Over £400 was raised for the Keren Hayesod,

On Monday Mr. Goldsmid and Mr. Jaffe were welcomed by the Lord Mayor, at a luncheon given in their honour at the house of Mr. Arthur Newman.

In the afternoon they were entertained at tea by the Governor-General (on behalf of the Irish Free State) at the Vice-Regal Lodge. They were accompanied by Chief Rabbi Dr. Herzog and Mr. Philip Baker, President of the Dublin Section of the Jewish Agency.
