Dr. Max Weinreich, co-Director with Mr. Zalman Reisen of the Vilna Yiddish Scientific Institute, who was injured in yesterday’s anti-Jewish disturbances in Vilna, is making satisfactory progress, but the doctors are still unable to say whether it will be possible to save his right eye, which has been badly cut.

Mr. Chajes, the Secretary of the Yiddish Scientific Institute in Vilna, was also injured in the disturbances yesterday.
