Bequest for Jewish Charities Left by Sigmund Lehman Brother of New York Lieutenant-governor Herbert

An estate of 3,227,141 dollars has been left by the late Sigmund M. Lehman, brother of Lieutenant-Governor Lehman, who died in France on April 7th., 1930, it is announced here to-day.

A sum of 100,000 dollars was left to his executors to distribute to charities at their discretion. 65,000 dollars has been allocated by them to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropies and 35,000 dollars to the Montefiore Hospital.
