The economic distress of Polish Jewry is one of the principal questions on the agenda of the Third All-Polish Conference of the Union of Rabbis (Agudath Harabonim) which is opening here to-night.

Other questions on the agenda include Compulsory Sunday Closing, Sabbath Observance, religious persecution in the Soviet countries, and the raising of funds for the maintenance of the Yeshiboth, whose existence is menaced by the lack of sufficient means.
