A group of members of the Iron Guard antisemitic terrorist organisation, which is led by Deputy Zelea Codreanu, broke into a Jewish timber works in Szighet-Marmorosz under the leadership of a priest named Ion Dumitrescu and maltreated the owner, Abraham Fried, and his workers. Work was held up for some time until the gendarmerie came up and the assailants escaped.
