Sir Frank Boyd Merriman, K.C., who was the leading Counsel for the Jewish Agency before the Shaw Enquiry Commission after the 1929 outbreak in Palestine, has been appointed Solicitor-General in the National Government.
Sir. Boyd held the office of Solicitor-General in the last Conservative Government.
