Over 3,000 people attended a public meeting held here last night, addressed by Dr. Ch. Weizmann and Dr. Alexander Goldstein, who are heading the South African Keren Hayesod campaign. Mr. Justice Greenberg was in the chair, A thorough canvass of all Jewish residents of Johannesburg on behalf of the Keren Hayesod was started to-day by the Johannesburg Jewish Community.
In Cape Town the Keren Hayesod campaign has already brought in £13,000, and canvassing is still continuing.
