Large numbers of Nazis were out in the streets again to-day in the vicinity of the Parliament building, attempting to repeat the anti-Jewish attacks which took place on Tuesday.

Knowing that the police would not allow them to proceed along the street in organised groups, the Nazis announced that they would be “going for a walk” in twos and threes, thus making it impossible for the police to interfere with “ordinary pedestrians”.

The police authorities took the precaution, however, of posting big police reinforcements in the streets, and closing the approaches to the Jewish quarter across the Danube bridges.

When some of the Nazis began to jump on tramcars and beat Jewish passengers, the police used their blank swords to disperse them. The Nazi demonstration went off on the whole quietly, as compared with last Tuesday.
