Professor Cuza, the leader of the antisemitic League of National Christian Defence, has announced to the Conference of the Party Council of the League, which is in continued session at Jassy, that the League has concluded an election pact with the newly-founded National Socialist Party headed by ex-Senator Stefan Tatarescu.

The Nazi Party of Roumania thus comes out openly as an antisemitic party on the lines of the German Nazis. All candidates will accept the economic programme of the Nazi Party, and the antisemitic programme of the Cuzist League.

Professor Cuza is heading the joint party list in Bucharest, with ex-Senator Stefan Tatarescu, the Nazi leader, as the second candidate.

The Nazi-Cuzist Party is expected to return a strong contingent to the new Parliament.
