Mrs. Archibald Silverman of Providence, Rhode Island prominent American Zionist, delivered the Independence Day address at the exercises held here under the auspices of the Palestine American Jewish Association.
Addresses were also delivered by Mayor Dizengoff, Nathan Kaplan of Chicago, and Ben Davis of New York. The American Consul General Knabenshue and his staff attended the exercises.
