There is little chance that the Prussian measure calling for the confiscation of the property of East European Jews, will have the force of law, Sir John Simon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated at today’s session of the House of Commons.

The statement was made in reply to a question asked by Colonel Josiah Wedgwood who made the same inquiry last week and was requested to wait until the British Ambassador in Germany submits his report on this question.

It is accepted that Sir John Simon’s statement is based on the results of the British investigation into this matter.
