An attempt on the part of the seven Nazis from Hanover, to introduce the anti-Semitic spirit in the Jewish section of Amsterdam, brought about their own downfall yesterday and their exit from the city under police escort.

The Nazis motored through the Jewish quarter and shouted abuses at all who appeared to be Jews. They continued their insulting shouts until they reached the Water Looplein Market in the centre of the Jewish quarter when a fight ensued.

The Nazis required police protection until their departure from the city.
