Jack Maddocks, a young man who gave his address as the offices of the Socialist Party, headed by Sir Oswald Mosely, was arrested and fined 40 shillings today for posting billboards throughout London, agitating against the Jews.
The billboards called for the nationalization of all banks owned by Jews and the expulsion of the Jews from the country.
The magistrate, in fining Maddocks, stated that such posters are offensive to numerous people and might lead to a breach of the peace.
Maddocks replied that it is his conviction that the influence of the Jews is detrimental to England.
