Ludwig Hollaender, Executive Director of the Central Verein, bitterly attacks the editors of the Nazi organ, the “Voelkischer Beobachter,” for the publication of the forged leaflet claimed to have been issued by the non-existent Deutsche Juedische Gemeinschaft, in the course of a statement issued today.
Dr. Hollaender challenges the Hitlerite editors to prosecute him for his statements in the hope that a public prosecution in the courts would bring to light the anti-Semitic authors of the forged document.
Concluding his statement, Dr. Hollaender declares, that he is fully confident that Jews and Germans will cooperate in the fight for the prevalence of justice in Germany and that he depends upon this spirit much rather than upon any effort in the courts.
