Encouraged by substantial volunteer contributions, leaders of St. Paul Jewry met here and laid the foundation for a city-wide campaign to raise $15,000 to prevent closing of the Jewish Educational Center.

The sum of $15,000 is needed to pay interest and principal on a mortgage and back salaries of teachers.
