The livelihood of Jewish artisans who own their workshops and of those who desire to open work places of their own is threatened by the approaching expiration of the prolongation granted artisans who do not possess guild diplomas, it was indicated here today.
The prolongation period expires on December 15, 1932. As a result hundreds of Jewish artisans face the closing of their shops while Jewish artisans will not be permitted to open new shops unless they are able to show a guild diploma.
