A Baghdad despatch to the New York Times states that a Pan-Arab conference is to be held in Baghdad in the fall, according to the Nationalist press.
The conference, according to the despatch, will be under the supreme presidency of King Feisal as “the true representative of all Arab peoples.” Yassin Pasha is reported as the chairman of the conference, while delegates are expected from Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Transjordania and Hedjaz.
The conference will discuss the present Arab situation with particular reference to the “projected union of Iraq and Syria.”
