Chicago Jewish Specialist Gets Therapy Award

Dr. Gustave Kolischer of Chicago, president-elect of the American Congress of Physical Therapy now in session here at the Hotel New Yorker, was one of the eight recipients of awards in recognition of outstanding contributions to physical therapy.

The honor was conferred upon Dr. Kolischer for outstanding contributions in electro-surgery and its application to urology.

Dr. Kolischer, who was born in Austria in 1863 is a graduate of the University of Vienna. He came to this country in 1899. He is senior Urologist at the Michael Reese and Mount Sinai Hospitals of Chicago.
