The Jewish people were abused and Jewish pedestrians attacked here today by anti-Semitic students numbering several hundreds, demonstrating in protest against a victory gained by the Hakoah football team over a non-Jewish University team.

The demonstrants assumed a particularly threatening attitude when they reached the district where the Jewish newspapers are located.

Police reserves were summoned who dispersed the anti-Semites. They reassembled, however, and continued to provoke fights with Jews. “Beat the Jews and throw them into the river!” they cried.
