Five Jewish families from Carpatho-Russia have just emigrated to Spain where they hope to find the necessary means to settle.
The “Praguer Tageblatt” discussing the movement of these families makes the statement that Spanish government officials have agreed to admit these immigrants by way of experiment and should their settlement prove satisfactory the possibility of admitting many other Jewish immigrants would be created.
Because of the difficult conditions under which Jews today exist in Carpatho-Russia, there are any number of Jewish families that are prepared to depart for Spain willing and ready to do the hardest labor in order to secure a livelihood.
