Lazarus Joseph Named Assistant Attorney General

Lazarus Joseph, actively identified with Jewish communal activities in New York City, has been named Assistant Attorney General of New York.

Mr. Joseph had previously occupied the post of deputy attorney general. He is a director of the Rabbi Jacob Joseph School, and the Hebrew Home for Chronic Invalids in the Bronx.

Rabbi Joseph Gitin, formerly of Rochester, has been chosen spiritual leader of Temple Emanu-El in Buffalo, N. Y.
