The creation of a united and representative body to make representations to the government and also to consider general Jewish problems in Austria is being undertaken by the Vienna Jewish Community.
Invitations to form such a body have been extended to the thirty-two provincial Kehiloth in Austria.
Thus far, twenty one Jewish Communities have responded, nineteen agreeing to such united action and two declining participation.
