The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the chairman of the Arab Executive, Musa Kazem Pasha, were received yesterday by the Palestine High Commissioner.

After a period of silence the Arab representatives renewed their complaints against the Jews and against what they called the favoritism shown to the Jews by the government.

Musa Kazem Pasha had previously addressed a letter to the High Commissioner charging that the Jews are spreading Communist propaganda and that the Palestine government protects Jewish interests more strongly than Arab interests.

“All the laws issued are for the purpose of enslaving the Arabs and supporting the Zionists. This is especially true of the law concerning communal responsibility for safety,” the Arab leader’s communication charged.

The High Commissioner promised to give consideration to the complaints of the Arabs. The Arab land problem was discussed with the Mufti by Sir Arthur.
