Colonel Herbert H. Lehman will begin his state tour in behalf of his candidacy for Governor of New York on October 20th. His present plans call for ten days of active campaigning.
The Lieutenant-Governor will be officially notified of his nomination by the Democratic Party on Monday.
Colonel Lehman outlined the five major issues on which his election campaign is to be based in an address delivered at a dinner of the Columbian Order on Wednesday evening.
These are economy in government, control of public utilities, water power development, humane and welfare activities and prohibition.
