M. M. Ussishkin, president of the world organization of the Jewish National Fund, yesterday appointed H. Esrachi, by telegraph, Commissar for Poland, over the heads of the Polish parties.

Esrachi, Palestine delegate of the Jewish National Fund in Poland, was named in order to direct the situation which has been complicated by the controversy between various groups of Zionist opinion.

“We cannot tolerate these internal party fights which are damaging the Jewish National Fund,” Mr. Ussishkin telegraphed.

Esrachi has taken over the management of the Jewish National Fund and has appealed to the Zionists to assist him in creating his own administration.

The measures taken by the world president of the Jewish National Fund followed the refusal of the general Zionists to sit on any directorate with the Revisionists with the result that the winter campaign of the fund was threatened.

The Zionist Central Committee has called a special meeting to discuss the new situation.
