The Diet of Wuerttemberg today rejected the Nazi motion calling for the prohibition of Schechita after the anti-Semitic motivation had been revealed.

At the same time that the Nazi motion was proposed, the International League for the Protection of Animals, proposed that the hunting of tame animals be prohibited. The Nazis voted against this motion, but for their own.

The Congress for the protection of animals now meeting in Gotha has prepared a law for the prohibition of Schechita to be submitted to various Parliaments.
