There are many evidences that anti-Semitism here and throughout Germany is being strengthened and extended a number of Jewish leaders declared today to a representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, discussing the prospects of tomorrow’s elections.

Opinion regarding the outcome at the polls tomorrow insofar as the Hitlerites are concerned, is divided but leading Jews are agreed that regardless of the result, Jews will be subjected to increased anti-Semitic pressure. It is this view that seems to have spread a feeling of depression throughout the local Jewish community.
