Rabbi Eugene Blachschleger of Richmond was elected president of the Jewish Religious School Teachers’ Association of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia at the fourth annual convention here.

Other officers elected were: Rabbi Abram V. Goodman of Cumberland, vice president; Isaac Walters, Charlottesville, treasurer; Mrs. Elsie Herman, Baltimore, secretary; and Dr. E. N. Calisch of Richmond, honorary president.

The conference was addressed by Rabbi Morris S. Lazaron the retiring president; Rabbi Abram V. Goodman; Dr. Jacob S. Golub, Dr. Louis Kaplan and Rabbi Blachschleger.
