The election of former Congressman William W. Cohen, William Willheim and Alan Horace Kempner to the Board of Trustees of the Hospital for Joint Diseases was announced yesterday by Frederick Brown, president of the hospital.
The three new members of the board have for many years been interested in communal activities and the work of the hospital.
The Hospital for Joint Diseases is one of the 91 institutions affiliated with the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.
Miss Susan Lipsky has been eleced associate editor of the “Tower Times,” a publication of the Women’s College of the University of Rochester.
Miss Ruth Hertzer is the leader of the swimming team of the Women’s College.
