Chaim Eitingon, senior partner of the Eitingon Fur Company, an outstanding fur firm, died here at the age of seventy-three.

Herr Eitingon was prominently identified with welfare activities in this city. He endowed the Leipzig Jewish Hospital and was a generous donor to other welfare institutions. A leading thoroughfare in this city is named Eitingonstrasse in his honor.
