The sixtieth birthday of Chaim Nachman Bialik, the great Hebrew poet, which occurs on January 9th, will be celebrated by the Agudath Hasofrim Ha-Ivrim, the Society of Hebrew writers.
The occasion will be marked by the publication of a special issue of “Moznayim,” literary journal of Tel Aviv, devoted to a discussion of Bialik and his work; the issuance of a special edition of a “Bialik Book” and of a special Bialik stamp.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
