A delegation representing the Jewish Community of Kielce, visited the Police Commandant yesterday to express their gratitude for the action of the police in preventing a pogrom upon the Jews planned by the National Democrats.

On Tuesday, the police of Kielce raided the homes of leaders of the National Democratic Party, and discovered evidence of preparations for a pogrom. Heaps of stones, which were to be used as weapons, were also found at the time.

The National Democrats now endeavor to explain that the stones were accumulated for the purposes of defense in the event of an attack by the Jews.
