Federation Executives Hold Meeting in Detroit

Rabbi Uri Miller, a graduate of the Hebrew Theological College of Chicago, was elected as rabbi of the Orthodox community of Omaha, Nebr. The community includes four synagogues. Rabbi Miller is leaving the puloit of Congregation B’nai Abraham of Terre Hante, Ind., to accept the new post.

Executives of Jewish Welfare Federations in St. Louis, New York, Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit met in Detroit to reach an agreement on the co-ordination of welfare funds.

A definite agreement on the decisions reached here will be concluded at the meeting of the executive committee of the National Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds on Feb. 11 in New York City.
