Having come to Minneapolis to attend the funeral of his brother, Jonas Weil, leader in civic and Jewish communal life, Benjamin Weil, formerly of Minneapolis, succumbed to a stroke.
He was in his room at the Radisson hotel when he suddenly became ill, dying a short time afterward. His family lives in Chicago. Mr. Weil, a native of Chicago, came to Minneapolis when he was about two years old and lived here for 50 years. He was for years a member of the firm of Isaac Weil & Sons. He left Minneapolis several years ago, making his home in Chicago. Surviving him are his widow and two daughters, Miss Hannah Weil and Miss Adelaide Weil, as well as two brothers, Herman Weil and William Weil, and a sister, Mrs. D. C. Jeffery.
