The Union of Jewish Front Soldiers held a protest meeting today against the recent proclamations against the Jews issued by Austrian Bishops and other high church dignitaries.
General Sommer, president of the Jewish Self Defense Corps, was a leading speaker at the meeting. He severely condemned the agitation against the Jews by church authorities, referring in particular to the pastoral letter of the Bishop of Linz wha asked for the withdrawal of the rights of the Jews.
