The Annual National Oratorical Contest for the Irving Lehman Trophy, sponsored by the Jewish Welfare Board, will be held at the Bronx Y.M.-Y.W.H.A., on Saturday evening, February 11th.
The contestants have each won elimination contests in the regions which they will represent in the national contests
The Hon. M. Maldwin Fertig, counsel to the Governor, and President of both the Metropolitan League of Jewish Community Associations and the Bronx Y.M.-Y.W.H.A., is the donor this year of the Irving Lehman trophy presented annually in honor of Judge Lehman, and which will be awarded to the winner of the contest.
