2,735 Jews Employed by Emergency Work Committee

Two thousand seven hundred and thirty-five Jews of Greater New York are on the payroll of the Emergency Work Committee, committee officials announced.

Of this number, 2,105 persons are engaged in clerical work, 328 in various labor tasks and 302 in special labor projects.

The number of persons of all faiths given relief work by the Committee totals 13,489. Of that group, 5,496 are Catholic and 5,360 are Protestant.
