Bernard Silverstein was elected president of the Oakland Federation of Jewish Charities at the annual meeting.
Other officers elected were Dr. Charles F. Wise, first vice-president, Dr. Herbert J. Samuels, second vice-president; Michael Grodin, secretary, and Lionet Wachs, treasurer.
