Police yesterday raided the offices of the Union of Jewish Ex-Soldiers. They conducted a search, but found nothing incriminating. At the same time unknown persons broke into the premises of the Hagana—a non-partisan Jewish self-defense organization—and removed the register of members.

Apart from these symptomatic raids which indicate the uncertainties of the situation in Vienna, a number of anti-Semitic fights broke out in the University today. At the Anatomic Institute, several were injured on both sides by chairs which were used in the fight. In addition two University assistants injured a Jew who tried to pacify the Nazi students.
