Assurance of protection for Czechoslovakian citizens of the Jewish Faith residing in Germany is contained in a statement circulated by the official Czechoslovakian news agency. This is in reply to intervention by the Jewish deputy, Goldstein, complaining that large numbers of Czechoslovakian Jews were being subjected to persecution in Germany.

Commenting on Deputy Goldstein’s intervention, and the subsequent statement by the Czechoslovakian agency, the Nazi press in Austria condemns it as a part of a united Jewish campaign against Nazi Germany.

It goes on to say that this united front which is in progress of being organized against Nazi Germany, is spreading to the United States, England and Poland.
