German authorities have forbidden those in charge of burials in Jewish communities to display or divulge lists of the dead, according to a refugee, a Jewish industrialist of Berlin who arrived here recently.

He reports that hundreds of Jewish houses have been searched in Berlin, ostensibly for the purpose of unearthing hoards of arms and ammunition. As a consequence, Jews have been beaten and injured. He added that during the raid by Nazis and official police in the Jewish working class district known as the Grenadierstrasse, earlier this week, a synagogue frequented by Polish Jews was entered and thirty-six worshippers severely mishandled.
