Refugee Dies in Czech Hospital

A college for the unemployed has been organized by professors of the University of Iowa under the direction of Prof. Moses Jung of the University School of Religion. Informal lectures and demonstrations are presented twice a week on economics, civics, history, science, sanitation, nutrition and mental hygiene. Six university departments with 23 institutions are cooperating. The University has granted the use of its library and class-rooms to the unemployed. Within three weeks the attendance has grown from a group of 35 to more than 200.

In the hospital at Wa###rnssorf yesterday died a German refugee, Salomon Kopf, who with three follow-refugees had been brought there ### Czech frontier police. Of the other three, one was found wih his skull broken and the remaining two were in a less dangerous condition.
