All-arab Town Bars Bid from Jewish Contractor

The town authorities of Nablus have refused to admit Jewish contractors to the competition for a water supply contract for the town. The reason officially given for this discrimination was that a Jewish contractor would be almost completely unable to obtain Jewish workers in the community. Nablus is an all-Arab settlement.
