A resolution calling on the “great Jewish organizations of America” to meet in a spirit of cooperation in order to provide unity of action in dealing with the German-Jewish situation, was adopted by the American Jewish Council of Troy, which represents the Jewish organizations of this city.
“In this ‘zero hour’ for the Jews of Germany,” the resolution reads, “we feel that rivalries and jealousies among Jewish groups are unwarranted and that friction and dissension are unnecessary.”
Copies of the resolution were sent to the outstanding Jewish organizations of the country.
