Several hundred Jews residing in Salonica and Athens will be affected by the recent promulgation of laws forbidding foreigners living in Greece from performing manual labor in certain trades. It is feared that these new regulations will force a number of Jews to quit the country since they will be unable to hold their jobs. The laws will be put into effect gradually, according to the decision of the parliamentary commission of the Government party.
